The Healthy Lifestyle Challenge

This is a family weight loss/fitness challenge that isn't just about winning, but encourages a healthy lifestyle change.

Every day, each person has the potential to earn 5 points, 1 each for the following:
1. 30 min (or more) Workout/Physical Activity;
2. No Sweets;
3. Drinking 48 oz (or more) of Water;
4. Eating 5 Servings of Fruits/Vegetables;
5. Reading Scriptures for 15 min (or more).

We weigh in every Monday morning. We earn two points for every pound we lose, one point for 1/2 pound.

Great Treat!

Healthy, cheap, and delicious! I halved it and put some in the freezer for Taylor, I love the consistency it truly is like homemade ice cream. I used chunky peanut butter because I like peanuts. Brynley really liked it and I think Taylor will love it.

The only catch is you will need a very powerful blender. I used my Vitamix, but it says a food processor would work as well.

A New Leader

The race is on - Megan has pushed ahead of Marisha for the first time...  It will be fun to see how the tight race ends!  Mom and dad are finally updated but Ross, Jenny, Becca and Curtis haven't updated this week yet.

Sorry for missing last week.  It's pretty amazing that we're 8 weeks down, 6 to go.  Keep it up!

With the exception of mom and dad, who still haven't updated their worksheets, the points are updated!  Megan is closing in on Marisha and Will is closing in on Taylor....  I'm pretty proud to be leading the back of the pack!

Totals Updated (Mom, Dad, Ross and Jenny still need to update their worksheets)

If Megan's going to pass up Marisha, it might be this week.  :)  We're counting on Taylor and Marisha eating a lot of treats on vacation to let us all catch up a little.  The top of the pack is close (Marisha, Megan, Taylor and Will).  I'm proud to be leading the lower half!

It was fun to see everyone at some point this weekend and it was great to always have a lot of healthy treats on hand (the Raspberry shake I had last night was amazing as well).
